Pat McGrath Is Officially Launching Her Sublime Perfection Concealer
The next-level concealer comes in 36 shades and five different color divisions.
Back in July of 2019, Pat McGrath Labs debuted its highly anticipated Sublime Perfection Foundation System, which was nearly six years in the making.
Now, the brand is kicking off the new year with its brand-new Sublime Perfection Concealer System: a subset of the famed foundation line. You can expect 36 shades of concealers, a blending brush, and a blurring undereye powder.
Due to drop on February 21, Mother designed the Sublime Perfection Concealer System based on the way professional makeup artists like herself work with concealer on the job. Sure, you could swipe the small doe-foot applicator onto your face and call it a day. However, the system is different. "[It] showcases how we customize concealer — for instance, I'll mix it with some foundation or primer," McGrath explained to a group of beauty editors at a press event in New York City. You can also use the concealer in lieu of foundation, as well as in place of contour or highlighter, she adds.

The full-coverage formula was designed with under-eyes in mind. Just like the foundation, the concealer is spiked with nourishing ceramides and hyaluronic acid to keep the makeup beneath your eyes smooth and hydrated without any creases or caking. You can top it with one of three skin tone-flattering shades of the Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder ($30). The silky powder helps blur away the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while brightening up the undereye area.
McGrath also stressed the concealers have a matte-yet-radiant finish and should be applied after foundation. When blending them onto skin, she noted she typically alternates between her hands and the new Sublime Perfection Concealer Brush ($32). The latter features a 40-degree slant and mimics the shape of McGrath's finger. Genius.
